Little Island Holidays was established in December 2006 as an independent travel agency by Jane Economou Quill.
Formerly, Jane worked for six years for Laskarina Holidays where she was highly successful as Island Manager on Tilos for five years and subsequently took on the role of Operations Manager with responsibility for Press Relations at Laskarina HQ. Aside from becoming fluent in Greek, she learned a great deal from her experience with Laskarina which was 9 times the winner of the Guardian & Observer Travel Awards. She has had a love of Greece since her first visit there in 1974 and is now married to a Greek, Vasilis Economou, whom she met whilst working on Tilos.

When Laskarina closed, Jane decided to set up Little Island with the support of her husband and two of the leading landlords on Tilos, Ilias Christofis and Stelios Chrysafis. Little Island has taken over being the sole UK Tour Operator on Tilos and this will hopefully help to maintain a healthy economy on the island.
